I understand and agree with a lot of what is being talked about here but I just want to say that because Dreamworks signed our Lisa at all means that they had it in their budget the whole time to do what they have to do for Lisa's album. I can think of tons of other country artists that the record labels probably did not expect to profit from but released their albums anyways just for the sake of releasing the albums. Country music does not sell as many albums as other genres and so the labels do not expect to have too many phenominally successful acts but the costs sure does not stop the labels from releasing the albums anyways! Here are some other artists having the same problem as our Lisa: Shana Petrone, Shannon Brown, Sonya Isaacs, Tara Lyn Hart, Trini Triggs, and Tamara Walker. Rebecca Lynn Howard and Anita Cochran finally had their alhums released! Jennifer and Heather Kinley have had their second album delayed and supposedly will be out in July. In other words, it is just one of those unknown things that we cannot explain.
