REDWOOD CITY, Calif., and NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Fans of rising country singer-songwriter-producer Lisa Angelle can now download her song ``A Woman Gets Lonely'' and will be able to download her entire self-titled debut album, in two-song bundles, every other week until Oct. 3. Angelle devotees should get the free, staggered downloads while they're hot, though, because by Oct. 31 all downloaded tracks will have timed out and been disabled. Those who miss that deadline can hear Lisa Angelle from start to finish on Oct. 31, when the disc is scheduled for release. This is the first time DreamWorks Records has afforded music lovers the chance to hear a complete album before it's issued commercially.
Liquid Audio is distributing the downloads to all participating Web sites via its Liquid Music Network, as well as providing the technology to allow music fans to preview and download the music with album art, exclusive photos, liner notes and lyrics provided by Angelle herself. In addition, Liquid Audio will enable DreamWorks to disable the Lisa Angelle tracks on the album's official release date. Participating Web sites will offer Lisa Angelle to their users via digital downloads at no cost before Oct. 31 and sell the album in its CD incarnation shortly thereafter.
New Orleans-bred Angelle co-wrote and co-produced every cut on the disc, which has been highly anticipated by fans of the songs she's written for Wynonna, Trisha Yearwood, Kathy Mattea and Tanya Tucker. The album is rooted in traditional country bedrock, but its stylistic adventures (including a pinch of gospel and a healthy dose of Crescent City swamp funk) suggest a decidedly contemporary outlook.

July 7,2000 - I stopped by www.lisaangelle.com this morning and found a new design. I think it is worth checking out. Looks like someone has been hard at work!
July 3, 2000 - According to information on Lisa Angelle's site, the "Twisted" Album will be out on Sept. 3 (Available on Amazon.com). And for those of you who don't do online shopping it should be in your local store on October 3rd. Be sure to let your retailer know to have it in stock on October 3rd!

April 29, 2000 - The Lisa Angelle Web site at www.lisaangelle.com has ceased to function. The reason is unknown to me, but lets hope it is just for a re-design or something.
March 6, 2000 - Now it appears a new single will be released in April and the Album should be out in May or June. What the purpose for the delay or the master plan is, is anyone's guess.

October 25, 1999 - After what seemed like forever, Lisa's Official Web page is now Online at http://www.lisaangelle.com Not everything is working yet however. I checked out the Fan Section and the comment form and the Join the Fan Club form are not functional yet. Also in the Songs section many of the songs are not yet functioning. Other than that the site is definitely worth checking out. I was however hoping there would be more info on the web site than there is on the single CD. Oh well, the web site is in it's infancy, as is Lisa's Career. I am also looking for contributors for this web site. If you have hear or seen anything not mentioned here please E-mail me the Info at lonny@pqcomp.com . Any Contributions are welcome. I would like any tour or appearance info. I would also like to know Lisa's birth date and age for the bio section.
